New Year

Sorry for the lack of update recently we have been very busy, and when we have been home we have been too tired to do much apart from relax! We have our printer set up perfectly and we are practising a lot with our tablets. (I still cant draw) Siri drew this picture the other night looks great I must say!

We also purchased some transfers and a plain T-shirt, because as some of you might know we are going to start our own company, ONE part of the business will be making custom clothing, other parts will include a variety of stuff such as a Manga/Anime/Gaming store and at some point we will want to be doing computer repairs too. We are starting off with transfers for now to get us started. Here's a picture of our first custom T-shirt.

We are off to buy another copy of Black Ops 2 now, have a Happy New Year from us both. See you next year!

Christmas is over already!

Well Christmas is over and its back to work tomorrow,  sigh.. Not looking forward to going back, too many early mornings and too many hours without my woman but some people have to work I guess or people sitting at home doing nothing will not get their free money. Need to push myself to start our own business as soon as possible now it definitely has to happen this year.

So we tried out our new tablet today, what a great tool.. need to get used to it a bit but really enjoyed using it so far. Will be using it a lot in the coming days when I am not in work. Will probably be doing a lot of overtime in the coming weeks to make up for Christmas. We played quite a bit of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 which I bought Siri for Christmas, we are enjoying it but it get's a bit frustrating when everyone else but yourself has a bad connection and walls do not seem to do nothing and not to mention everyone camping in every possible corner in the map scratching their belly button on the floor, Ahh well you get those type of annoying disgrace to humanity players in every game I guess.

Overall I enjoyed my Christmas we finished last night with a nice evening meal with just the two of us. Having four days off in a row was great too, that does not happen often at all. Never mind we don't get money if we don't work do we! We are interested to know how your Christmas went and what Santa brought you, so send us a tweet and let us know! Christmas Eve!

Its time for a new post! so what have we been doing? well our family came around yesterday for a delicious Christmas meal cooked by my mum, It was all well prepared and a very nice day... She worked really hard on it. We had a nice vegetable soup to start then a full on Christmas dinner, with roast potatoes , sprouts , turkey, swede, cabbage, everything you can think of really was perfect think we all owe her a great big thank you. In fact it smelled so good I could not wait to eat it and I forgot to take a picture for our readers.. Im sorry :(

After eating the delicious food prepared by mother we gave gifts and what not, it was a really nice evening! We also reached a good milestone in Rift and finally got our fastest mount, which is loads better than the slow things we put up with for so long before. As soon as we got our 1000p we could not get the bear faster!

We done Volan for the first time today as well, Best boss ive seen in any MMO game ever and really fun too. A bit laggy, but thats to be expected when the entire server wants to be there on the rare occasion he spawns. We are going to start leveling our other characters too today, My Mage and Siri's Cleric, time to endure all that Storm Legion content again oh goodness, But I want a healer just tanking is getting a bit old for me now.

Holidays are coming!

What a day, we went to see the Coca-Cola truck in the city this afternoon near Winter Wonderland, It was pouring with rain and we got drenched on the way but there was no way we were not going to see the Coca Cola truck today as its a once in a life time opportunity! So drenched to the bone we still managed to get a few quick pictures of it for you so we can share the Happiness!

They were also giving out free mini cans of coke near the truck which was a nice surprise especially since I was feeling a bit parched, I had a full blown glorious Coca-Cola whilst poor Siri had to have a Coke Zero because of her pregnancy diabetes :( which she did not like at all. We also had our picture taken by some Staff working there that will appear on their website in a couple of days they said we have a little Coca-Cola card with the code for our picture on so when its on the website we will show it to you when its there!

They also had some people singing near the truck which would have been nice to watch if it had not been down pouring with rain, While we were in the city we also went to HMV, which was packed with people doing their last minute shopping but we wanted to get the Lord of the Ring Trilogy to have an all day Marathon of Lord of the Rings. So Christmas day we will probably be watching a whole day of Lord of the Rings.. Good stuff.

The Hobbit

We finally saw the Hobbit, what a great movie that was. We are looking forward to seeing the next one next year, we are going to give it a 9/10 rating, So if you have not seen it you should go see it as soon as possible. Its also available in 3D ! Siri and myself are going to have a Lord of the Rings marathon some time over Christmas, Just sit down watch Lord of the Rings  with a table full of snacks, Coke and what ever else... sounds good right?

Now we are just going to relax and look forward to Christmas and hope all our online ordering comes before Christmas day!

Need more hours in a day.

Due to shortage of time we did not have time to post a new addition to our blog yesterday, its been a busy week with Christmas near and juggling the hospital and Christmas shopping in between working. I look forward to my next morning in which I do not have to set an alarm to get up on time! Thank goodness Christmas is almost over, Don't get me wrong I enjoy Christmas but with a big family growing every year it seems! my bank account empty's quite quickly which is a bit frustrating when im trying to save money for our future child. I also need money for other important things before the baby arrives too. What also frustrates me a lot is how people on benefits can afford more than I can and get most things in life completely free where as us honest working folk have to get up early in the morning in the blistering cold to a job we dislike to pay our way in the world! Where as they can do nothing with there lives and get all the money they need to live a more luxurious life than a hard working individual like myself. I have not bought something for myself all year apart from Halo 4 and Storm Legion and a few other games of course which does not work out too expensive. Note in the below picture the N3DSXL Pikachu limited edition, Would love to own one of these, but guess what folks.. I WORK so I cannot treat myself to one of these because im too busy trying to keep my bank account floating above 0, surely the government should reward workers in some way other than taking their money from them with outrageous Tax costs which go straight to the benefit claimers.

Though its not just our government that is messed up like this, its also the Dutch government as they have written numerous letters to Siri asking her to pay a huge fee.. why? because she worked too much, you want to hear something even more ridiculous? its money they want from 2009.. so we also have to pay a big sum every month to pay for a mistake the government made almost 4 years ago because Siri worked too much and too hard. However if you do not work a day in your life and get everything you own from the tax payer (the people that work) you never have to pay the government a penny, they will just shovel all the money and more onto you. We even had threats from them saying they will come to the door to take items which equal the value of what she owed, and the price would be bigger.

But enough of the ranting, what did we do after I finished work yesterday? We played Rift the majority of the day doing Warfronts and earned one really frustrating achievement where you had to kill 5 players as "Santa Claws" now getting "Santa Claws" was frustratingly hard enough, but getting the killing blow on 5 players while still in "Santa Claws" form was really annoying but we done it in the end. At one point we almost re-installed WoW after Siri started talking about the mounts I took days and days to grind. We then did not as we (mainly Siri) have an addictive personality and its best if we stay far, far away from that game. I already wasted over a year of actual IN-GAME time on that game. We also revisited Guild Wars 2, a great game I have to say, but the end-game is not so satisfying and even in a group it feels more like a single player game in which you can see other people. (I also have beef with the Warrior's in this game, but I will save this for another post.)

We also went to the hospital today and Siri got a new toy to test her blood sugar levels, im sure I will have a go of it at some point to see how high my Sugar levels are after all the coke I drink. im expecting the little gadget to say "Its over NIINNEEE THOUSAANND" before shattering into millions of pieces. Siri's turn

Hi everyone, today it is my turn (Siri) to write a new post to give Dave's fingers a break. Today was a boring Sunday in the beginning, because my poor Dave had to work early in the morning. While i was waiting for him to finish, i made some bracelets to give away as Christmas gifts for the little girls in the family. When Dave was finally finished and came home he surprised me with a delicious subway. My favourite! Especially since i'm pregnant. For some reason i can't stand any greasiness any more and only fancy healthy stuff. Must be the baby telling my body to do so.

We went onto Rift again after we had our sub and started doing some PvP, because our vials for extra prestige and favor were still active from yesterday. We also done our dailies for the fae yule event and the chronicle. Speaking of that new chronicle  i have to say i find it horrible because there are so many bugs in it, it's almost not worth doing it until they fix it. I've made a ticket for it, but they couldn't do something about it instantly. So we'll just have to wait i guess, there are lots of other things to do.

If you are looking forward to Dave's next blog, i think he will be doing the one of tomorrow again. I would like you to meet our beautiful baby which we had a scan of on 30-10-12, that's why i will post the picture of that scan below. He or she will be a lot bigger now, but we have to wait until 2-01-2013 for the next scan and then we will also find out whether it will be a boy or a girl. So exciting!
